Colin Newman Reissues: First Three Solo Albums

Colin Newman recorded "A-Z," "Provisionally Entitled The Singing Fish," and "Not To" after Wire broke up for the first time — and all three albums have now been individually reissued with bonus discs featuring lots of great lost songs.

All three of these are great if you're a fan of Wire from that just post-154 period. The bonus tracks are really incredible and there are a lot of them - I think 59 all together, and 38 of them previously released. It's a shame that there are no real liner notes, but the music speaks for itself.

Appears that there were plans to have a box set version that included a booklet, but that was shelved - these are the notes that would have been included, by Wire biographer Wilson Neate: https://thatsneate.wordpress.com
