ZippY wrote:I think the reason that Cherry Pop used the name The Flight Of Yuri Gagarin (Full Length Version) instead of the Last Flight Of Yuri Gagarin (Full Length Version) is because it's a real typo on the US Promo single:
https://www.discogs.com/A-Flock-Of-Seag ... ase/121924
With the exclusion of Committed, this US Promo single is included on tracks 4, 5 and 6 on disc 2 , so technically speaking, it's a correct resemblance.
However, The Russian cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin had his "last flight" on March 27, 1968, when the UTI MiG-15 (an experimental jet he was piloting) crashed. He was 34 years old. The Apollo 15 astronauts put a plaque on the moon naming all of the men who'd died in the space race. Gagarin was honored among them.

there are plenty of typos on promos, rosenmotag? the official titles are easy to find out, and they shouldn't be wrong
on this release.
some songs may have had alternate titles like messages (from the rings of saturn), but thats ok.

The whole “Cocteau Records”-output – which is really a pity because I love this song and I think this version is even better:
(It's Not Me) Talking (7”) 4:33
(It's Not Me) Talking (12” Remix) 4:45
(It's Not Me) Talking (Instrumental) 4:21
Factory Music 4:28 (B-side)
And I also couldn’t find these 3 versions from the Jive-era on any of my cds:
Remember David 7 inch 3:40
The Story Of A Young Heart 7 inch 4:00
Lost Control (Totally) 6:40
Can somebody please confirm – or better disabuse : )
profil wrote:Yes I 've seen that you have mentioned them, but you list also many more tracks which are available on cd - mostly as bonus tracks on the Cherry Red expanded cd editions but also on the Beehive cd version of Listen.
The 6 tracks I have listed are the only official AFOS tracks which have never been available on cd after this release -at least as far as I know. That's what I wanted to get confirmed. Thanks for your help.

You read it wrong Cherry Pop continue with their occasional ‘Remixes & Rarities’ releases (initiated by yours truly for the 2013 Paul Young set) he was mentioning he was involved in the Paul Young Remixes & Rarities release not this one. If he had been involved with this he would have come up with a lot better compilation than this substandard reissue.
