On Mar. 24th Cherry Red will release this 2cd anthology from AFOS containing singles,bsides and remixes from '82-'86. Many tracks are appearing on cd probably for the first time and are apparently all master tape sourced. Tracking list will soon appear.

i wish the tracks were in the correct order though.

also, i don't care for all the edits, it looks like

again, it's a TERRIBLE listing, with many missing mixes, and too many edits of tracks.

they did a very poor job of it. that being said, at this point, was never expecting it, but yes
it's got most of the remixes, and some rare tracks on there for the casual fans.

as a hardcore fan, it's pretty disappointing.

also, it's the LAST flight of yuri gagarin, (they got that name wrong).

Nope, it's the first I heard of it. I haven't done a project for Cherry Red since 2010. Special thanks to Alex Ogg, former project manager, for ruining that gig for me.

First of all let me say that it's very good news that a compilation like this will surface, but I would have expected the single version of Remember David on this instead of some remixes that can easily be found on the Cherry Pop album editions of them from a couple of years ago.

It's not a 'thorough investigation' of what was missed since, but more like a new opportunity of filling in some gaps. Like others, I hope things will change for the better regarding the tracklisting.

I don't know what all the grumbling is about. Most other tracks have been bonus tracks on the previous reissues. This looks to be cleaning up some of those not included. And I have the 'Remember David' single and the only difference is that a portion of the intro is cut out, not a big deal. It's not a remix so the edit can be easily made with a simple cut. After all 4 original albums had been remastered with bonus tracks, I think this package is a pleasant surprise, as long as it sounds good.

I for one think that it's a very good opportunity to have many edits etc out on cd, despite leaving some out . Hoped that Space Age Love Song (US 7") and The More You Live The More You Love (7") were there as well . The latter track is widely available on the Best Of, and even in remastered form on the Japanese version. Oh well. it's easy to tell this is a quick hack job, that was thrown together very last minute, and poorly organized.

it would take me or anyone a quick check on discogs to get the tracklistings in the right order. and what's with the
random remixes a the end.

if it's labelled 'remixes and rarities', why not actually combine the real rarities, and leave off the common edits, and tracks.

don't know, but i'll ask my friend that knows him to ask him about it.
they usually tour every year. maybe they'll change up their setlist to include
some of these songs.
