Hi all. Just browsing around Juno and I came across this release:

The Visage track is wrongly listed as Der Amboss (Extended Version) when in fact it is the Promo Instrumental B Side. A good find for a completest, though it could be a vinyl rip as in common with most tracks in this compilation

I have the Jackson CD. It's fabbo but I suspect some of the tracks may be vinyl rips. As I recall, Volume 2 seemed to be many vinyl rips, whereas Volume 1 didn't sound that way. I'll need to confirm with some cans on as I've only played it in my car. Watch this space.

Yup. "Der Amboss [instrumental]" here is a vinyl rip. Not the worst I've heard in its favor. Certainly cheaper than sourcing a used 12" [not cheap] and trying to denoise it myself.
