After listening to the song, I have to say, it not being available isn't the worst thing in life...
Funky bass and Marian trying to be a Prince for the poor? Totally not my cup of tea, can live with the chorus, but the rest is really meh for me... hopefully better stuff on the album.

turns out there are plenty of other previews on youtube if you do a search.

it's not bad though. will wait on the album to see if that's decent.

Damn, the last full length by Alphaville I own is The Breathtaking Blue from 1989, but judging from the sound samples this albums sounds like it has a number of really good songs on it. I just may have to get it. Must say that Marian's voice is still amazing.

The chorus is good, though somewhat too Alphaville, but falcetto voice sounds unnatural and strained. Wish them luck commercially, but something rubs me the wrong way here. Oh, and Marian's mannerisms are really ridiculous - one of the worst "New Wave" performers, I recon.

Scott - If that's the last Alphaville LP you own, you have to seek out Prostitute (1994). Bad name, worse cover, fantastic album. It's easily my favorite Alphaville and I'd say probably in my top 20 albums ever.

I wouldn't say Salvation (1997) and Catching Rays On Giant (2010) are any bad either. Even remix album Forever Pop (2001) sounds refreshing to my ears

If you like Prostitute (which I do, very much) then you'll love Strange Attractor. This album exceeded my expectations. There's so many good songs on it, and it'll clearly take a while to fully unravel. I did NOT like Catching Rays On Giant so this is a real treat for me!

there are a couple of good tracks on it, but i haven't previewed everything closely yet.

so far it seems average.

They just recently announced a live date for Los Angeles; apparently their first time performing here ever.

Catching Rays On Giant is a great album. "I Die For You Today" is super. "Song For No One", "End Of The World", "The Things I Didn't Do", "Carry Your Flag"...all on my personal playlist.
