Seeing as how my money has been refunded, I assume they didn't get enough pledges to make this project happen.

Too bad, and I suspect just a bit too late. Even 5 years ago this would have attracted a lot more attention probably.

Hopefully something else materializes. My advice to those running this campaign is: strip it down and simplify. Instead of a 3-CD set with a ton of bonus googams, how about just getting the original LP of On The Beam released on CD? Remastered if possible. That should be a lot cheaper and realistic than a huge, expensive-to-create package. To be honest I contributed just to get the album on CD after all these years. The extras don't matter a bit to me and I would contribute again for a smaller campaign, like just the one CD of the original record.

I disagree...it is the bonus discs 2 & 3 that was the reason I pledged. If it was one basic disc with just the album, I would not have pledged...they should have gave a choice of formats to choose from for people who just wanted the album only. $30 is nothing in the scope of things like getting unreleased tracks.

Fair enough. I just want the damn thing on CD (finally).

If they gave a choice, some people (like me) would choose the cheaper option, and they still wouldn't get enough money to make the deluxe package.

Is there any chance that this incredible 3CD set will be released in the near future??

I've been waiting since they first announced this. I keep asking Paul and it just doesn't seem to ever happen. Maybe he will come around in the remainder of 2019.
