I remember listening to Rodney on the ROQ when I was 15. (1978) When KROQ was still a Butt -Rock station. Rodney put KROQ on the map. He put New Wave & LA Hardcore Punk on the radar and changed Southern California from stoner central to a New Wave & Punk mecca for most of the 80's until Glam Metal & Thrash reared its ugly head.
