I don't mind well done vinyl rips. I'm just glad this material is seemingly in print on CD in three different editions throughout the last dozen or so years. Kind of amazing, for such a marginally popular artist.

I think these are vinyl rips again, though better than the Japanese CDs of a few years ago. The Japanese paper sleeve version of Figures had an atrocious rip of Passionate Reply that still beggars my belief it was released on a legitimate CD. It sounded like it was taken from a badly scratched record and tracked with a stylus full of dirt.
The bonus tracks are all interesting too, although some came out on the digital only Immersed album.
I'd say this was worth picking up if you see it cheap enough. Figures is a pretty good late new romantic album.

Strangely, it was released in UK (http://amzn.to/2wDUL0B) 18 Aug, but international/European sites like wowhd and the german grooves-inc
say 13 Oct even though the label apparently is German.....

I had planned to one day buy the JPN kami sleeved issues of 2012 but with the price of this down [straight from Amazon, even] to about 40% the cost of those two, I'll live without the discrete covers on the packaging. I'm on a low budget. I will probably get this very soon. Hopefully the new remaster of "Passionate Reply" sounds better!

Both these albums are on iTunes with the bonus tracks. The sound quality seems slightly better than the previous ones at first listen.

I received my CD just now, the booklet is excellent with lots of recording info, who played on what track, and a pretty exhaustive biography written by Zaine himself. A quick listen through of the CDs gives me no reason for any complaints, no vinyls cracks etc. I'm perfectly happy with the set. I wish that same label would release more CDs.

I have a very like new copy for sale in the U.S. only. I played it once to rip FLAC files.
