terrible looking artwork (even if it is temporary).

would it kill them to put the songs in chronological order?

this is just sloppy.

Shame, I would've loved to see a comprehensive singles anthology, or even something covering singles, album tracks, B-sides and the like. This is only the second (??) compilation on which they've included new material, and after seeing the tracklisting I kinda feel like they've squandered the opportunity. A singles set starting with the original single version of "Suffer the Children" and ending with "Secret World", utilising the original single edits/mixes, as well as "Floating Down the River" and these two new tracks, would be a superb package in my opinion. Include a DVD of music videos for good measure too and package it in a lovely A5 bookset.

More importantly though, bring on the new album, TFF. Make my day....

A comprehensive singles set would've been ideal, but i think most people were waiting for a new studio album that the band has been working on for a while. They announced few months ago that the new album was near release and had the working title The Tilting Point.

They are playing a one off gig in London so my guess is that the compilation is designed to drum up interest in the band again prior to a new album release.

Why release a best of before a new album? Unless they packaged it like what Blondie did a few years ago by putting out a best of on one disc and brand new material on the other.

a best of for the casual fan so they can be reintroduced to the band. The two new tracks being a teaser where probably one will be a single from the new album. That is my guess

The new single I Love You But I'm Lost doesn't sound like a TFF song. Its seems like it was written in 5 minutes flat, with Roland's vocals hastily thrown over it (many negative reviews online already). The new collection Rule The World is pretty pathetic looking as well. Again we lost out on a comprehensive best of. If they're trying to promote their upcoming tour a 2cd singles retrospective would've been ideal. The new album called The Tipping Point (for now) is scheduled early next year to coincide with a UK tour from what i hear.
