The Essential Mi-Sex (2007 compilation) - Question

The Essential Mi-Sex (2007 compilation) - Question

Postby Bellenger1981 » Thu Jan 18, 2018 5:16 pm

Does anyone have any information on the versions of the songs used on "The Essential Mi-Sex" compilation (released in 2007 by SonyBMG Australia)? "Castaway", although not listed as such, is the 1984 U.S. Single Version, which is a completely different recording, not the original 1982 Australian release. The song that puzzles me most is "It Only Hurts When I'm Laughing", which is completely remixed and sounds, in my opinion, much better than the original LP version from "Space Race". Does anyone have any information about this version? Is it the single version? A U.S. remix? I ask because it's become my favorite Mi-Sex song, but I can't seem to find any information anywhere about the version featured on "The Essential" verses the original "Space Race" album version. Thank you.
