not a bad listing. will definitely get it.

too bad they didn't include the little video that they made from one of
their 12 inch versions, where you record the sounds to a cassette, and
play it back through a computer to generate images:

i hope they keep going with these, but if they do 'certain things are likely',
they will need at least 2 cd's for all the mixes.

Thank goodness this is happening! I have all of the singles from this one but nabbing the LP has been difficult. I could never find a copy from a US dealer and the shipping from Europe was always a deal-breaker. Now it'll be on CD, saving me the trouble of doing it myself.

YES !

great news , another want off the list

it takes bloody ages for these things , I think I discussed this one about two years ago with cherry red and thought it was shelved ( I thought that perhaps the naked release had not sold so well)

one of the others I suggested was due to the fact that why did they pick WINs freaky trigger to release when the majority of people I know want Uh Tears baby to be released and has all the semi successful singles on

Funny I also requested about two years ago that they should do an expanded version of Hollywood beyond and that they said no due to potential lack of interest ( this is due out soon now )

the other thing I have asked is that as they have done the brilliant revolutionary spirit sound of Liverpool that will they do a Scotland one and suggested , Paul Haig , Associates , Friends again , post card records , orange juice , billy Mackenzie , bourgie bourgie and paul Quinn , berlin blondes etc etc

Regarding Kissing The Pink, if it’s the same guy or team that put together Naked, then we could perhaps expect an excellent reissue of What Noise. My personal fave is Certain Things Are Likely (1986) which would definitely need 2 discs.

Cherry Red needs to learn how to do internet research, if they think the last album was 'sugarland', they are wrong.

They probably think the group broke up, and isn't around or recording music.

Too bad, because that means the liner notes will be wrong and not up to date.

Typical.

whilst it is annoying that the booklets are incorrect shouldn't we be celebrating the fact that some company has been bothered to release this , If the quality is like naked then we should be looking forward to a quality release

I am just glad that there are a still a few labels prepared to take a chance with releases like this ( and I know cherry red quality control can be hit and miss, I still cant believe they released belouis somme without checking the remastering

on another issue I saw on face book that the space monkey release is still happening after the failed pledge campaign , another one of my list

I agree that its good that these get released. But it takes 5 seconds to google the band, and find out the right information.

Cherry Red has ALWAYS been lazy about their releases, besides messing up the mastering, and just having poor quality control. This is just one other thing that they could fix easily, but they don't bother to do it.

Cherry Red's OOP reissue of Marilyn's "Despite Straight Lines" will cost you in excess of $200 in new condition.

Thanks for posting the infomation omar.

'What Noise' is a great album, but shamefully Magnet appeared totally uninterested in promoting it on release in 1984.

The album was made available as a digital download about 5 years or so ago, but the bonus tracks will hopefully make it worth purchasing the CD.

It could be my headphones but some of the samples here sound like rips:
