Postby omar » Wed May 23, 2018 9:55 am

In support of his summer U.S. tour Mr. Dolby will release this 2cd "best of" in July:

CD1

Hyperactive!
Europa And The Pirate Twins
Radio Silence
Screen Kiss
Valley Of The Mind’s Eye
I Scare Myself
The Devil Is An Englishman
Windpower
Dissidents
Eastern Bloc
Airhead
Cruel
The Ability To Swing
Neon Sisters

CD2

She Blinded Me With Science
One Of Our Submarines
The Flat Earth
Beauty Of A Dream
Budapest By Blimp
I Love You Goodbye
Urges
Pulp Culture
Close But No Cigar
Leipzig
Silk Pyjamas
May The Cube Be With You
Airwaves
My Brain Is Like A Sieve

This new collection is being released by BMG and features nothing from his last studio album Map Of A Floating City strictly focusing on his EMI material i guess. Also missing is Field Work (with Ryuichi Sakamoto).

I agree. There’s enough TD best ofs out there. Remastered/expanded version of Aliens & Astronauts would be the way to go.

Without checking, I think that this will be the third Thomas Dolby best of to be titled "Hyperactive".

This one's different.... it's called "Hypercative".
