This is the set that should have come out in 2005 I think, but Pete and Steve put a stop to it... I think, even though everything is otherwise available on the Boombox box set, the remastering on the Japanese set will be different/ better (hopefully).

They should’ve also included In Too Deep (Off Yer Mong Mix) and Hooked On Love (Big Revolver Mix).

I would've preferred that by now Edsel released 2 disc versions of the DOA albums in their correct forms without all the blunders. Deluxe editions of the first four albums would've been perfect.

looks like it, maybe a promo got out, and thats how there is one review for it.

also, this was a 2005 bootleg, so either they were trying to re-release it, and couldn't get clearance,
or it's just another bootleg of it.... same tracklisting.

It kind of looks like it negative1. I swear this is deja vu. Didn't this happen before with another similar Dead or Alive Japanese compilation release a few years ago?

I wouldn't mind Rip It Up 2, or some kind of expanded version. I kind of like how the tracks are cut into a non-stop mix on this release :-)

. Usually, I want the complete, unedited 12" versions.

Where are you guys seeing that it was cancelled? I did get a notice from Amazon that there would be a delay but I can't find anything about it being outright cancelled?
