They released Alison Moyet's most recent album on every format, even cassette last summer, but unreleased Yazoo material vinyl-only? Do me a favour...

Furthermore it won't be available in the US even in digital because of rights issues.

Have a look at Alison Moyet's Facebook page to see fans (Mostly) negative reactions to this. Apparently, BMG don't think there is a demand for CDs. Rubbish!

I'm totally with you. I'm all for cds, my turntable doesn't even work anymore. All my 12" singles are boxed up.

Extremely laughable argumentation... If they want to go old-skool with the BBC stuff, why not put it out as a tape instead. At least that is what most people have traded the sessions with each other for years.
Nah, the usual business ideas of selling a really small part of unreleased stuff in a massively overpriced edition (compared to what is exlusive in it). If I always read this no demand for CDs nonsense, why do CDs still outsell vinyl by large amounts? It is just a stupid argument to cash-in by recordcompanies on fans.

Just announced! Four Pieces will also be released on CD after many complaints from fans.

CD's still outsell vinyl by a whole lot on the media front. I don't know why these companies plan vinyl only releases. Happy to hear they are releasing this on cd. I will purchase it now.

Naah,,,,vinyl and mixes not from the 80s dont interest me...only redeeming feature are the BBC sessions
