I just wanted to post this here since this forum was very important to him over the years. My dear friend Jay Adams, known here as pinkyblue82, passed away this morning. I've just poured out my thoughts in a Facebook post which I made public so anyone can view if so interested:

That's a beautiful tribute Scott. I don't want to sound crass but it shows the same level or love, care and attention that you give to your music projects.

I can relate to this a bit myself. I am 51 and have the same love for the same period the two of you have/had.

Late 70/early 80s.

Somehow I can connect with this because I had a high school friend that had the same love for music as I had at the time.
We were always after new music (New Wave/Disco/Soul/Electro etc.) Searching in the bins of a lot of record stores.
In those years there were so many ...

We lost contact somewhere in 1985.

For me, Live Aid (July 13th 1985) was the beginning of the end for (pop-)music as our generation knows it.

That's all I have to share with you. Thanks anyway for this topic.
