A sad loss since Walker has really blossomed in his maturity. One got the impression that Hollis was equally capable should he desire to go down that path. I got Hollis' solo album six years ago and wasn't under the impression that we'd hear anything more from him. I still need the last three Talk Talk albums. All I have apart form the first two are compilations.
saw the news also, but not sad. mark left a great legacy, and we still have his music,
he accomplished what he set out to do, and since he wanted nothing to do with music
or create anymore he was done. he was very private, and would rather have been left
alone, and if no on ever mentioned talk talk again, that would be fine with him.
i have pretty much every 12 inch, cd single, album, bootleg etc, from the band.
you are not missing anything from the last 3 talk talk albums, they didn't appeal
to me at all.
if you have the greatest hits, and compilations you are set.
spirit of eden, and laughingstock are just experimental musical pieces, and thats about it.
