New Release News!
It's been a two year wait but I've just received final clearance to release the brilliant 3rd and final album by The Passions titled 'Sanctuary'. Best known for their 1981 UK hit 'I'm In Love With A German Film Star', (a live version will be included here as a bonus track), this 1982 album has never been released on CD. In addition to the singles 'Jump For Joy' and the title track, the package will include 9 bonus tracks. I confirmed that all master tapes are available and work will begin right away. I will post a possible release date window as things progress. Feel free to sign up for my mailing list at my website for notifications of new releases and sales.

Btw: the german edition of this album has a different title "Cars driven fast", also a different cover and track order.

I'm going to do like my Visage CD and have the alternate cover on the reverse side of the booklet. The original album name was supposed to be Cars Driven Fast but it was changed at last minute. In fact, most of the copies of the master tape list the album as Cars Driven Fast.

I'm interested in hearing this. I only know them for "...Film Star" but your releases are always solid, so I'll be checking this out for sure.

I've been informed I will have the new high resolution master transfers by September 20. I already have the artwork pretty much done so I'm hoping to have a November release.

In a surprising windfall of activity, aside from The Passions release I am now signed on for 12 other releases through Universal. 2020 looks to be a big year, and I've got a few titles that are long overdue for remastered and expanded editions that I'm sure will appeal to a lot of people here.

Remastering of The Passions 'Sanctuary' is complete. Their page on the website is now active (link below) and you can hear samples of some of the remastered tracks at the bottom of the page. I'm hoping to have stock by November. It's been a long wait for this amazing album to resurface but it will be worth it!

I don’t suppose you can give any clues as to those 12?
