'Synth Pop Art' album & its bonus single will be on Bandcamp soon for high quality digital download (plus possibly the usual streaming sites). Some songs remixed and all mastered by me, Paul Klein of the Toy Shop (UK 80's synth pop solo & duo - 1981 to 1984). Album originally released on limited edition vinyl by VOD Records in 2015.

A follow up album featuring unreleased tracks will also be available in the near future.

It's a great album. Glad to have it available on something more accessible to the 21st century than vinyl!

I just bought it...Should be great. Question: How come the download does not include: Lucy, Hot Wax, Another Time Some Other Place and Fall In Love With Me?

Hi & thanks for buying! Lucy, Another Time and Fall In Love have been renamed New Coat, Love Knows No Bounds & Aftermath for this download album (+ Television Set is now TV Tivvy). These are now their proper original titles which were changed for the Vinyl On Demand release due to copyright problems I was having at the time (i.e. some of the tracks were registered through PRS to the wrong people which is now thankfully sorted out). Hot Wax is on there at track 14 you should find.

The digital version of the 7” single (synth pop art ep) is now up at https://thetoyshop.bandcamp.com/album/synth-pop-art-ep. Previous buyers of the album on Bandcamp should have received a 20% off message by now.

The Toy Shop's Facebook page is at https://www.facebook.com/PsykikToy/ in case I haven't mentioned it before.

May not interest you guys seeing as the style is more quirky punk/rock/new wave (hardly any synths, nasal vocals) but my other main old band, Psykik Volts (I was Victor Vendetta/Slick Vinex back in 1979/1980), is also now on Bandcamp with 2007's 'Re-Volting' & the newly released 'The Fall & Rise of Tintin Quarantino's Punk Fiction'. 'Re-Volting' is also available as a CD from Damaged Goods Records + picture disc 7" of 'Horror Stories/Totally Useless'.

Both albums feature songs written way back when but mainly recorded solo by me in more recent years. There are 4 or 5 Psykik Volts full band originals from '79/'80 in there as well. I may also put the 2 Pop-Tones songs from 1980's 7" single "Wooden Heart" on Bandcamp soon (Pop-Tones was Volts drummer Mick & I and was between the Volts & The Toy Shop). Link is at https://psykikvolts.bandcamp.com/ (on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/terminalweirdness/). Psykik Volts are also on most good streaming sites.
