Some self promotion here, which I think I deserve as a long-standing member and poster :)
I just published the third and final book about YELLO's early years! Over 500 pages!
It covers the "EXCESS" years, 1982-1984, and is made in collaboration with founding member Carlos PerĂ³n.

You can order it from one of the links below. (Or tell Santa Claus you want it....)

I do find the early years particularly interesting because the band didn't seem to get a lot of coverage in the English language music press at the time. I had the album and singles from the Excess era but I think it was only around the time of The New Mix In One Go and One Second that I noticed Yello getting significant UK press coverage and then when The Race became a hit there was much more.
I'm also a fan of your books because of the input of Carlos Peron. It's not surprising that most Yello coverage focuses on Dieter and Boris so it's nice to hear the perspective of the 'third man'. I'm also not sure why he left the band, though I suppose that revelation will be covered later in the book, though from what I've read so far of the new volume once Boris had the Fairlight there maybe wasn't the need for Carlos' tapes and effects? Anyway - maybe I'll find out soon!

Don't own a kindle, with no plans to ever get one.

Are these books available in other digital formats?

I'd buy PDF's of all three volumes of YELLO chronicles and the Stella.

Kindle is a free app which is used for most ebooks on Amazon. That's Amazon regulations.
No, not in any other formats, sorry.
