20GBP pre-order, with a bonus badge. Badge looks lame from the stamp-cam photo they've shown. And since they used a stamp-cam photo, it probably *is* lame.

Key points:
- Produced with input from band members Tony James and Neal X.
- Material remastered from the original tapes. [So does this mean that all the samples have been cleared?]

The cleared samples question is my target of interest. I have noticed that the REAL ads inserted into the album are now missing, removing one of the thrills of the time. Maybe I should just keep going for the loose vinyl and a UK CD [I had the US edition with the samples removed] of the original '86 edition. Will definitely wait until release to see what the scuttlebutt is on this one before buying.

I have the 1993 US CD, released on Cleopatra, and it sounds like my Canadian vinyl, including the ads and everything. Mind you, I haven't listened to the vinyl in over 30 years, so it's possible that I'm not remembering it perfectly.

Adds are missing obviously apart from the SSS ones. Also of course missing is the '21st century boy' 7" and apparently there are two in existance? I've never heard 'From the gutter to the stars' before and it's interesting... and long! I have the badge which is ok. At £20 i ain't arguing buit as i keep stating everywhere including to the band members i'd have paid double for a full to the brim 5 CD edition. Even a DVD of the videos would've been a nice addition.

You might like it, as most super fans do. But we're talking about a very niche band, here.
So the odds are low. Most people gripe at the cost of deluxe boxsets. So it would be very
expensive, and people would complain.

I do understand and it's still a great addition!

They could have done better than the low-budget, two-colour card sleeves for each disc. I would have preferred the artwork for the 12"es, at least for CDs 2 and 3. Instead, what we get is the artwork for 21st Century Boy for CD2, when it would have been more suitable for CD3.

Regarding the videos, there may have been space on CD4 for an enhanced section.
