Not bad for $157 but as I have all of the CD singles and albums on CD, I'll probably let it slide. Though there is nice stuff here, there's also "mandatory vinyl," which annoys me. SS were a fine group but I think I've got enough for my taste. For anyone interested with nothing in hand, this would be a no-brainer.

The 3cd sets for Sacred Heart and Hormonally Yours will be available only with the boxset and not on their own. If you order the boxset It’ll cost $200 including shipping etc. No Thank You!!

Been excited for a Sacred Heart deluxe edition since Siobhan announced one years ago. Got super excited when I saw the headline on SDE website a few days ago and instant disappointment set in when it was clear the only option was to buy the entire box set including vinyl which I have absolutely zero interest in. I enjoyed vinyl as a kid, but I've moved on and have no desire to start back down that path.

I suppose my only hope is that the 3cd set will eventually be made available as a lossless digital download. I can live with that. If not, then all the label is accomplishing is forcing more, otherwise paying customers, to resort to file sharing. I'd much rather buy a 3cd set for $30-$40 but I absolutely will not spend $200 when 75% of the box set is items I do not want.

The 2CD Digipak of each album will be available as a stand alone product, but the third bonus discs in the card wallets remain exclusive to the box set. There was also a limited bonus disc of the 'I Can Drive' CD single with the first 500 orders (a nod to the last official London Records release by the group, but as it was not with Marcella, it's not technically included within 'Our History'). The vinyl albums will also be available separately, probably in the new year after the box set is out.

There's a fair bit of noise about the vinyl and CD together in one box, and the overall price. I compared it to the Bananarama reunion live sets, from 2018, which had one live show on 2CD, DVD and Bluray in the same set, which was a large format book, and that was £90. This has a bit more going for it, and whilst quite expensive, it's not extortionate... but shipping of course bumps it up for international fans.

Content-wise, there are 16 previously unreleased tracks/mixes and a further 10 which are appearing on CD (or in the case of the 'Sacred Heart' cassette and CD bonus tracks, appearing on vinyl) for the first time! Plus the full live show from 2019. I'm really looking forward to the 26 unreleased/rare tracks, personally... it was an instant purchase and I love this act.
