It's an unbeatably fantastic Almond album. My favorite of his as I loved the Scott Walker vibe he was going for. Since I have the "Treasure Box" compilation, there's very little here I need, so I'll be sitting this out, but anyone without "Treasure Box" would do well to buy this one! It's interesting that the Gent Pitney duet version of "Something's Gotten Ahold Of My Heart" now displaces the album version [without Pitney] and the Marc only version is relegated to disc 2. As an American with the original CD, I've never heard the hit Pitney duet version of the song, which is a bit af a shame, since Pitney was a fantastic singer and I can imagine it being truly great.

i don't have any marc almond albums, except the greatest hits,
and a few soft cell singles.
but i do have the cd single and US 12 of 'tears run rings',
which i love.

A superb album, glad to see it getting the deluxe treatment, although the DVD is very short on content.

Excited about this release.
Bummer re PAL DVD format which I am only able to view on my PC.
Press release states that it includes all available remixes but appears to omit the Just Rite Edit and Acid Tears Dub mixes of 'Tears Run Rings' from the U.S. 12". Not uncommon for reissues to exclude US-only mixes. Love that song.

The Only The Moment 12" versions included here are the real treasure.
The A-side mix is great, but the Blue Mosque 10 minute Mix Of She Took My Soul In Istanbul is simply sensational.
BTW.....that reminds me......its high time a proper multi-disc compilation of Marcs 12" material was released.
