What I wish they would do is realize
nothing and no one lasts forever
and mend ties and make a new full length recording.
Tony Hadley is one of the few who's voice
still sounds great after all of these years.

I have 94% of this. I may see if the few new tracks are available as DLs.The band could have stopped in 1984 and that would have been fine. Where is this online? Its not on the band's website; as interesting as Steve Dagger's history of the early days has been.

I hoped for a Deluxe Edition of Heart Like A Sky, which I would have bought for sure. Going to skip this one and it's remixes because I have them already.

Practically all of their CDs for their early 80s albums have suffered from very bad mastering, if you read the reviews on Amazon. Perhaps this will rectify this problem? Although I believe the tracks will be brickwalled, as that is what the world (most people) wants. Except us of course.

The only good remaster was the 20th anniversary of True in 2003. Those 2010 versions were awful as i recall especially Journeys To Glory and Parade.

And Go West who didnt release anything till 1985..

Bar about three of that list, that opinion couldnt be further from the truth, as that ignores Black Celebration, Welcome To Wherever You Are, Big Thing, How To Be A Zillionaire, Technique, Songs From The Big Chair, Achtung Baby etc. Musical life would be much the poorer without them.

Wonderland was their best album, and the circus was very good, that was it for me.

I can live without any album that came after these, as they were all subpar release from then on,
and for most of the groups, it was just a complete decline in creativity.

Sure some did really well, and were popular too, but they were way past their prime after that.

I couldn't resist weighing in on this.

ABC: for me nothing comes close to Zillionaire, 1985
New Order: totally agreed on Power Corruption Lies. Low-Life also very good. Steady decline after for me.
Tears for Fears: Yes masterpiece status for The Hurting. Big Chair was medium for me, everything after I didn't care for.
Depeche Mode: I favor the first two but consider Violator (1990) one of their best. They lost me after that.
Duran Duran: Rio definitely was the apex, although I loved the 1997 track Electric Barbarella.

the other mentioned bands:

Blancmange: Mange Tout (1983) is the winner, but Neil Arthur's recent prolific offerings under the Blancmange moniker have some very bright spots, especially the Wanderlust album.
Cabaret Voltaire: Winner for me is Micro-Phonies (1984), still good up through Code (1987), then they wandered. I do like much of Richard Kirk's subsequent solo work.
Erasure: Wonderland is also my favorite. Chorus (1991) was very strong though. Some bright spots mixed with lots of not so much follows. The Neon (2020!) is more enjoyable than I was expecting.
Flock of Seagulls: I could stop with 1983.
Human League: I was in love through 1983. Then drifting into decline to the truly dreadful (I'm talking to you 'Human'). But then I thought Octopus (1995) and Secrets (2001) were close to amazing. Ignore the subsequent Credo (2011).
Kraftwerk: peak period ends 1981 for me but I still enjoy the subsequent output.
Ultravox: I'm solid through 1984 so looks like I agree with you there.
