Blondie - 'Signles Box' (15 CD singles) Rel: 14th. June 04. UK

http://www.spincds.com/old/blondiesinglesbox.html

"The Blondie story began in 1974 when Deborah Harry and partner, guitarist, Chris Stein formed a new group out of the remnants of New York club outfit The Stilettos. Joined by Clem Burke, Gary Valentine and Jimmy Destri, Blondie built up a sizeable underground following and were eventually signed to Chrysalis in Sept '78.

The feisty ambition of ex-playboy bunny Deborah Harry and her mop topped male colleagues paid off. A quarter of a century after their debut, Blondie are rightly acclaimed as one of the most influential bands of their generation. They also became the most commercially successful act of their entire Punk and New Wave scene. They enjoyed 9 top10 singles in the UK, 5 of which hit the no. 1 spot.

This box set features the singles from 'Rip Her To Shreds' to 'Warchild' complete with 7" b sides and some 12" b sides Each CD single is in an individual pouchette reflecting the original 7" artwork, all housed in a flip top box.
