The first album in 7 years by the Norwegian new-wavers.
A much more serious than any previous album. Some call it "sympho jazz pop"....

Highly recommended !!

I'm a yuge a-ha fan, went out and saw the True North film in the theater during its limited run. Wasn't really taken by the album the first time but it's a grower for sure. It's a shame most Americans that don't frequent this board (and probably some that do) only know them for one song.

I bought the album on itunes 2 weeks ago. Nice but nothing amazing. Maybe I'll listen to it again in a month (I enjoy his previous albums until "Lineas de vida" but this one, is little bit weak)

I am from the USA & A-Ha is in my top three fav bands of all time along with Pet Shop Boys & Duran Duran. I love everything they put out & I buy it all from them. I only listed to the new album two times as my CD is in route to me but what I heard, I love. Foot Of the Mountain is my Fav album and then scoundrel days.

Grab the European CD on my business trip last week. Cost me roughly $25.

Don't have much time to listen to it. True North reminds me of Stay On These Roads.
