Great news. Pseudo Echo's Autumnal Park is going to be on CD! With bonus material. And if that is not enough there is a Live Autumnal Park CD and a special release CD. The 301 Demos. Early Pseudo material! Brian Canham was involved in every step! You can pre order on wwww.almacantarrecords.com. All the info is on the site.

It would be nice if someone could keep an eye on this and post a message when the product actually becomes available. The web site states an anticipated release date of Nov 1, and IIRC this release has been announced previously, a long time ago.

Please also let us know when the credit card function at the website works. I tried to order last week but there is no option for a credit card order.

Yippee!!![:)]
And it looks like the original cover too.[:D]
Let's hope it actually comes out this time.
I wrote to them about a year ago when it was originally supposed to come out.
They said Brian was still working on it, he wanted to do more.
I guess he did, 2 extra discs worth![:0]
I can't wait.

Having been burned by so many independent record companies, I emailed almacanter to find out if Autumnal Park is being mastered from studio master tapes, or if it's going to be a cleaned up vinyl transfer. The "limited pressing" comment makes me wonder. I haven't received a response yet. I know most don't care about this kind of thing, but in my opinion Autumnal Park is the last true brilliant New Wave album, and I hope it's released in the highest quality available. I am very excited about the demos CD. I have a brief video segment of PE's debut TV appearance performing "Listening" in 82-83. The version of the song is amazing, and I hope it's on this demos disc.
And I also noticed they have the song "Turning the pages" listed on both releases as "Turning pages". I hope that mistake is not on the actual packaging. Either way, it will be nice to have these available.

Please let us know what you find out.
But if Brian is involved I would hope it would be from the master tapes.

Hi,

Here are the updates. The credit card machine on our site works. The webmaster was working on the site that day. "Turning The Pages" is a typo on our site. The packaging is correct. Typos can happen sorry. We will correct that soon. Thanks for pointing it out. "Limited pressing means that." We contracted a certain amount with the band to press. These recordings are from the master tapes. And are digitally remastered. Yes Brian was involved in the project down to the artwork. What you see is from Brian. We try to answer as many questions as possible. Sorry if we missed any.
