This Ain't No Disco: New Wave Album Covers

For a genre so tied to the visual, this neon toned collection by Jennifer McKnight - Trontz is only fitting. From one-hitters (Haircut 100, Taco) to legends (Blondie, Iggy Pop), the book offers 256 eye popping pages of rubber braceleted, skinny tied time capsule glory.

Obviously the only explanation is that Marvy was cloned and birthed a fully grown 6'4" adult in 1983. If you wanna discuss Taco's horrid "Putting on the Ritz", the Reagan Shooting, Stagflation, Farrah Fawcett posters, or Chico and the Man, you're SOL. [:D][:D][:D]

Zombie thread resurrected... braaains.

I just saw this book a week ago. It was a pleasure to read. The funny thing about the book is, I have 85-90% of the music mentioned in it. I thought back to the "Catholic Girls" album cover I saw in it. I zip through my ipod's artist list, and lo and behold, I have a track from them, AND it coughed up the cover!
