I'm listening now... up to track 7: Everything Kills You...
All I can say at this point is if you were as excited as I was to get the 25th Anniversary Remasters back in 2003 - GET THIS ALBUM!
'What Are You Going To Do With Your Life?' and 'Flowers' were both good - but this! This is like stepping back into '84 and living the experience of hearing a new Echo and the Bunnymen album all over again.
This will be in the player for some time to come...

Finally got here and OMG this is so good!

Stormy Weather is perfectly suited to all this rain and almost seems to portend some sun coming
All Because of You is beautifully crafted
Parthenon Drive has very Lips Like Sugar riffs
Of a Life is very majestic
Everthing Kill You...just wow!
What If We Are...phew, achingly sweet

IMHe is right. This is classic Echo, but it's also evolved, not a copy. I might add - almost reminiscent of some classic British Sea Power. [;)]

I must say, this is the best of the bunch for the latter years of EATB. This takes the cake for me. My wife and I popped this one in the car stereo, after picking it up at Target (of all places). I didn't know what to expect, especially after "Flowers" and "Slideling"... but this one was definitely worth it.

It shall be interesting to see where this one sits in the minds of other EATB fans. Most of you guys seem to really like it! Time will tell. It is nice to have Hugh back at the boards, good producers really bring out the best in bands, don't they?!?! Wow. "Siberia" makes New Order's last album seem like an afterthought. Nice stuff.
