I will definitely get this, but what we really need are Rip, Rig & Panic reissues.

No Rip Rig & Panic yet, but Cherry Red is going to reissue Glaxo Babies on CD too - amazing considering they once had to call themselves Gl*xo Babies since the pharmaceutical giant didn't like their name being used[8D]

I picked up my copy over the weekend, and was sad to see that on the back on the CD, it has the legend "remastered from vinyl". It doesn't sound bad, though; and of course, I'd rather have the CD than not.

Hopefully <a href="http://www.hmv.co.jp/product/detail.asp?sku=1439305" target="blank">this</a> is from the original masters.

There are other Y Records stuff like Pigbag, The Slits (both first time on cd I think) and Pop Group.

None, really; I just picked it up at the first place I saw it (Rock-It Scientist on St. Marks Place) as an impulse purchase for $15.99. I hadn't scouted around for best price or anything.

Incidentally, thanks for the link, yipyipcoyote. I'd be interested to check out some of those releases on that page!

I wonder if the Glaxo Babies CD is ever going to come out.

No luck with Gl*xo Babies yet, but some Rip Rig + Panic CD's are available now. 'God' 'I Am Cold' and 'Attitude' were reissued plus bonus tracks late last year by an Australian label called Progressive Line, followed by a Swedish label (called Viva la bop or something) for the first two albums so far, but without bonus tracks.

Incredibly, 'Nine Months To The Disco' was reissued on CD too, by a tiny German label in a limited edition of 300 (iirc). No chance of getting one now [:(]
