Earlier this year Enfant Terrible released the ‘Trumpett Sounds’ LP
featuring Dutch minimal elektro/wave acts from the early eighties. This
highly acclaimed record gave the artists on it the attention they
deserved. Now Enfant Terrible is proud to present the true return of one
of those artists: The Actor.

The Actor is one of the most famous, and also obscure, minimal wave acts
from The Netherlands. They released two tapes on Trumpett Tapes in the
eighties and were featured on a few compilations. Now, in 2005, The Actor
has re-recorded their all time classic track ‘Covergirl’. The result is an
elektro tune most contemporary elektro artists should be jealous of.

Next to this new version of the track the ‘Covergirl EP’ also features the
original 1982 version and two brilliant cover versions by the French
masters of contemporary elektro: Porn.Darsteller and It & My Computer.
Both these artists appear from the leading Invasion Planète Rec. label.

The ‘Covergirl EP’ brings together the past and present from one of best
kept secrets from The Netherlands. Maybe that will change with this
release…
