Dan, I saw it! Ric is looking very "dapper" im his older age, and I love that song "Bottom Dollar"- one of the catchiest songs that he has done, in my opinion.... "Nexterday" is a great album also- worth the 8 year wait from his last solo album.. Now, if only we can get him to agree to a Cars reunion, which he stubbornly wont do :(

I don't blame him. The Cars died with Ben Orr. Some bands wouldn't hesitate to do a reunion without a key member, but I think it shows a lot of class that The Cars have refused.

They should just get Rutger Hauer to play the part of Ben Orr for the tour.

[:D] That's a little spooky. All he needs is a lollipop.
While we're on the subject, I've never understood how Ric's solo tune from 1982 or 1983, "Something To Grab For" was never a big hit. I thought that was a great tune.

I always thought they looked alike. And Ric's Beatitude album has been one of my favorites for 20+ years now -- I bought the LP, cassette and cd -- now it's all in the computer.

Ahh, you're the other one. [:D] I was a little disappointed in the album, but I've ponied up for vinyl and cd copies of it. That song is one of my personal touchstones to the 80's.
