Siouxsie -The Scream CD

[cubby]

I finally picked the 2 cd deluxe remaster up; and it is highly worth it. Kudos to Severin for his work putting it together. Very nice fold-out packaging. 20 page book with lyrics, sleevenotes and rare photos. A bonus disc with 2 Peel sessions, some early demos and the first 2 singles "Hong Kong Garden" and "Staircase (The Mystery); and finally, the early live fav "Break Up to Make Up" which was never officially recorded. My only complaint is that I would have added the 7" of "Love In A Void". Maybe that will show up on the "Join Hands" remaster. According to Severin, the next batch won't be out until the earliest Spring of 2006. "Join Hands" and "Kaleidoscope" will be 1 disc each. "Juju" is probably going to be a 2 cd deluxe version. Can't wait!!!

UMe Imports (the American catalog division of Universal, via their indie distribution company Fontana) is releasing "The Scream" on January 10. I'm wondering if the price will be any cheaper than the imports currently floating about.

Ahh, it's good to see this topic being discussed - see my Post from October 22nd:
