The Sound catalogue is now available at Ideal Copy. I highly recommend the album Shock Of Daylight + Heads & Hearts which includes their Mega Hit Total Recall. IMHO, every newwaver should own that song. The band may be underrated but they are very talented. The Sound albums have been reissued by Renascent but still fetch a relatively high price on ebay.

Talking about Renascent, they announce the release early 2006 of 4 Comsat Angels albums: Waiting For A Miracle, Sleep No More, Fiction and the BBC Sessions 1979-1984.

If only Ideal Copy is shipping goods to Dubai (UAE), I might have ordered a lot of CD's from them instead of wasting too much time looking for stuff from other online stores... [B)]

Yeps there is something wrong with them, I inquired about their shipping rates to the Philippines coz I have seen a ridiculous $19+ charge somewhere, they didn't bother to answer my query. I guess, I will just purchase my CD's from Amazon, at least the rates are clear.

I'm not sure why this thread did not elicit more discussion, but in the interest of generating general panic, I thought I'd mention that when I was at http://www.renascent.co.uk yesterday, I noticed that "Waiting for a Miracle" and "Sleep No More" are already listed as no longer available (after only six weeks!). Still available at the Ideal Copy though, as well as Amazon and Barnes and Nobel (for $7+ more). With the distributor out of stock though, not sure for how long ...

In a related note, Renascent has also posted a July 3 release date for 5 new midprice live recordings from the Sound. One appears to be a Dutch Radio Session, the others apparently from concert performances.

The Comsat discs are cheaper on amazon.co.uk than Ideal Copy.

And they appear to be back in stock at Renascent. Assuming Renascent's prices include VAT that won't be charged to the US, they are cheaper there than amazon.co.uk.

Gone yesterday, here today. Very strange, but you're right, Barmy, they appear to be back in stock at Renascent.

Glad to see them available again. Even with the RPM releases in hand, I was happy to pick up the new versions.
