Nitzer Ebb - comp/DVD and remix project

Postby matthewedwinmiller » Wed Jan 25, 2006 3:19 pm

BIG Nitzer Ebb fan here... if anyone is looking for a specific track, feel free to hit me up. Id be surprised if I didnt have every commercially released track.

Glad to see them extending their tour to a potential worldwide audience, I have been teasing my wife about flying to Europe to see them :) It's been too long since the Ebbhead tour...

Its really great to see so much NE propgaganda around the forums lately :)

Back in the early 90s, I went to this import store and saw the L12 of "Control, I'm Here" (brand new). I was really happy to get it (not missing that many NEP singles) but when I got home, it was some really crappy folk record inside! To this day, I haven't had the chance to buy the L12 again.

i had the pleasure of meeting Doug and Bon in the studio with Alan Wilder while they were recording Ebbhead back in 91. The nicest bunch of guys you ever wanted to meet. Look forward to new music from them.

Is there going to be a DVD music video set with this cd?

They just posted the track list for the second CD :

Get Clean
Join In The Chant (Gold)
Control (SDI Mix)
Hearts and Minds (Mix Hypersonic)
Shame (William Orbit)
Captivate (William Orbit)
Backlash (William Orbit)
Out of Mind (Maitresse Mix)
Fun to be Had (Clinton Long Mix)
Ascend (12” Flood Remix)
Lakeside Drive (12” Mix)
Kick It (Popular Music Mix)
I Thought (Final Sin Mix)

Apparently it is very disappointing because there are only 2 mixes that have not been on CD before (don't know which two though)

I don't think Shame (William Orbit) aka Mix 2 has been on CD before. I can't believe they put Control, I'm Here Strategic Dancefloor Initiative because it's on the EU pressings of Belief CD.
