hi guys,i think all of you have an enormous record collections,it must worth thousands or maybe more,so my advice for you guys is to buy a record cleaner,it has many brands,VPI,clear audio,nitty gritty,it comes with a solution that is specially formulated for your vinyls, it's very convenient to use and very effective

Yeah but even with a large vinyl collection, I only ever have to clean records when I buy them used. Those cleaners are only for records that have been improperly handled. The stuff already in my collection isn't messed with pizza stains and fingerprints .

I made my own following these directions:

It works wonders with the solution i made of 3:2:.0001 distilled water:100% iso alcohol:photoflo

While the solution itself has cleand alot of dirty vinyl you'd be amazed at how much crap you can suck up with a vacuum attachment. A friend of mine who owns a used record store has one of the $2k VPI machines and he says my DIY cleans just as well as his.
