Marbles lp

Postby schwenko » Mon Apr 02, 2007 3:44 am

A long overdue release from one of the classic max's/CBGBs bands of the mid to late 70's. 12 tracks including the 4 sides from the only commercially released singles, plus 8 more. Includes Red Lights, Computer Cards. Fire and Smoke and Closing Me Down.

Marbles were powerpop pioneers, and were featured in Blank Generation (Amos Poe) and in The Nomi Song.

Awesome. So Schwenko, is this indeed the same as the bootleg CDR floating around or different? Higher quality I hope? And it's definitely vinyl-only? So when we getting a rip from you?! [:D]

Sorry...so many questions. And thanks!

I believe it has one more song than the boot. I haven't listened yet, but I am told that the vinyl sonics are very good by a band member[:)]
Rip?? dunno, it's on my "to do" list. I believe that someone has already offered to do it, n'est-ce pas?[:D]
