Wolvie, you won't be disappointed, my Technics 1200's just collect dust now.

I can't wait to get it. I have a few hundred 12" singles gathering dust in my closet which are dying to be converted. My Technics & Phillips cd recorder have been collecting dust for a while now anyways - too many steps & not the greatest quality rip.

The link given, no longer works. Is it anything like the new "ION's" that are out? They're supposedly something you can use to record vinyl/mp3 rips onto cd's firectly freom the turntable, or is this the same as what you're all talking about?

Believe it or not, I've never tried ripping vinyl to cd, although I definately want to down the road.

Holy crap! The ion is great! It's so easy to use and the sound quality is great. The only problem I had was making Audacity work with Vista, but I eventually figured it out.
I am so happy that I bought this. I haven't really fooled around with any songs yet, just did some straight rips to MP3.

Don't be a fool. Record them and archive it in a lossless format.
