Just heard that guitarist John McGeough passed away last week. Not sure of what the circumstances were. Was a big fan of Magazine and he will be missed!

A real tragedy.[:(] He just recieved a nod at the Bridgewater Hall during the old punks Words and Music event. Possibly my fave guitarist ever? Certainly one of the most distinctively inventive, jagged guitar tones of post punk, leaving us with a host of
