Was There A New Wave band called The Donuts?

I could have sworn I have seen at one time during the very early part of the 80's,like around 1980 or so,a band called The Donuts.Was there a band with that name,and if so does anyone recall what their music and style sounded like? I'm just curious in knowing what they sounded like that's all.Did they have what I would call a New Wave Top 40 or a commercial sound? So I have an idea of what their music sounded like,is there any other bands to who they can be compared to? Thank you.
