Just curious....I put them in that SMART POP listing....and I heard once that there was a STEELY DAN connection?....is that true?

CHINA CRISIS are a personal favorite, and have been so for 20 some odd years. I love 'em to death. Great songs. Great arrangements. Great stuff.

"What price paridise" was my first....Thats a good one! I saw the Vidi to Arizona Sky and FLIPPED!

I also think the MEET DANNY WILSON were great ones too..highly underated in the US...not too sure about thier succsess in the UK or Europe?

Never really got into them, but I did see them live when they opened for Simple Minds at the Ritchie Coliseum at the University of Maryland back in...hmmm...1984 maybe?

China Crisis's original members & founders Gary Daly & Eddie Lundon are touring again as part of the 80's revival tour but I only know of dates in the UK not USA or Canada im afraid.

Danny Wilson had 4 chart hits in the UK:-

What I like most about Danny Wilson is that it was so "No strings attatched" very simple and pretty much upbeat.....sometimes thats a good thang!
