Mira Aroyo Performing Tonight in NYC.

Electroclash was nonexistent when, back in 1998, the electro-pop foursome Ladytron meshed Kraftwekian automation, 80s synth-pop, and techno into one song. They were an instant hit among both rock and dance audiences, and their successful albums have made them the band most likely to be around when the electro fad dies down. The latest release from this quartet, Softcore Jukebox, is a mix of other artists’ songs along with a couple of their own unreleased tracks.

Tonight at the Knitting Factory: Keyboarder/singer Mira Aroyo will be representing the group and the album and will be spinning her favorite records. It will a diverse and amazing collection of old and new. Any new wave fan in the area should come check it out. It will be an amazing time.
