What Bands Do You Hate?

Postby safesurfer » Thu Nov 13, 2003 1:26 pm

Ok, now we know what everybody likes to listen to. But what about the artists/bands you really can't stand.

The music that makes you feel like jumping out of the window like Alex in Clockwork Orange?!! ( After the therapy, listening to beethoven)

The music that makes you want to pull out a 12 gauge and shoot everyone in sight?!!

The music that... Ah, I'll just get on with it, here's my list:

-Bon Jovi( Aaaaaargh!)
-Stink 182
-U2( Well, most of it)
-Puff Daddy
-Coolio
-Offspring
-Green Day
-Queen
-Linkin Park
-INXS(At least I dont have to worry about this one no more, bwa ha ha!)
-Mariah Carey
-Vapors( I downloaded "turning japanese" on YOUR recommondations, and by god did it SUCK!)
-Scatman John
-Creedence
-Bob Dylan( I saw him "live", he's about as lively as the pope)
-Cindy Lauper/Modern Talking( Because this it what regular dumb people remember of the 80s)
-Moby

Not very original perhaps...

Good Night!

Any "rap" y'know it's only one letter away from "crap"
Bit of trivia:rap is an acronym for "(R)hythm,(A)capella,(P)honetics
Oh and I cringe at ANY top twenty radio air play stuff from any era.

I'll stick to the 80's (at the risk of offending a fan or two)

Erasure
Eurythmics
Fergal Sharkey
Communards
Tony Basil
Prince
Men Without Hats

That's it for now.

Pretty much any "mainstream" music, whether it be Mariah Carey, Creed, Puff Daddy, Blink 41, all that mindless corporate-manufacture crap.

Genres I hate on whole: Classic Rock (it's what got me into punk/new wave in the first place), Metal, Rap, 80's

I absolutley DETEST Genesis and Phil Collins. The mere mention of his name sends me into involutary convulsions.

Its a irrational hatred I can't really describe.

That and "America" - that guys voice and the damn Horse with no name song is so annoyin

Ditto on Nu Shooz, just god-awful. Anything rap-related. Eminem, Linkin Park, Korn, LFO, Faith Hill, Macy Gray, Christine Aguilerra, Justin Timberlake. Madonna, how did she last this long? Does The Insane Clown Posse have any relevance to music?
