hey all!
I'm really really sorry if this is one of those things that gets posted all the time...I know how anoying that is. Anywho.

I am in love w/ The Cure. I've loved them for about a year. I have Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me, Staring at the sea, and Disintagration. I now know them incredibly well. I was thinking its time for some new music.

To spring to the point-Can anyone point me to some bands similer to the cure? Thanks!

Some bands I'd recommend (and a few of their songs, fyi):

Jesus and Mary Chain (e.g., Head On, My Little Underground)
Echo and the Bunnymen (e.g., Cutter, Never Stop)
Psychedelic Furs (e.g., Pretty in Pink, Heaven)
Depeche Mode (e.g., Just Can't Get

If you like the Cure, check out a band called the Essence. They sound so much like the Cure that it's hard to tell them apart. Start with "A Mirage" and "The Cat" from the Essence. They're a Cure twin from the '80s. You will love them.

Hey Raye

If you dont own all the Cure records, I would recommend getting them first. Especially Pornography, Faith and The head on the door.

If you have the chance you should also check out their b-sides/non album material. I think they are suppose
