Roxy Music

I've been on a huge Roxy Music kick lately. Definately an influence on alot of the UK New Wave bands of the late 70s/early 80s.

Avalon is one of my all-time favorite albums.

I do really love Roxy but I've been of more interest to all of the solo efforts.I have about 10 picture sleeve 45's of Roxy and early Bryan Ferry.I loved http://www.manzanera.com/ Phil Manzanera's Earlier solo stuff with Eno (801 etc...) or Primitive Gui

Agreed. The Eno solo stuff was always brilliant but I wish it hadn't taken me so long to discover Manzanera's stuff. Primitive Guitars and K-Scope are both worth seeking out. Primitive Guitars has his playing over a lot of 80's electronic drum...
