hello everyone, can someone here please help me out, i am looking for alot of movies with a new wave touch to them, or a 80's retro sound.. i really cant explain this, or movies with New Wave bands in them , iam looking for movies that have that new wave feeling to them, if you know what i mean.. please help me out

The movies that come to mind are "Back to School"(Oingo Boingo does Dead-Man's Party), Valley Girl, and Fast Times at Ridgemont High

Without getting too obscure, my idea of the 'classic' new wave movie is probably "Sixteen Candles". No new wave subject matter per se, but those posters on Sam's bedroom walls speak volumes.

Wow - Urgh! a Music War was great - - got the soundtrack when it came out but it never played in theaters in my area. Only saw it once, at a friend's house, who had a copy on 'Beta' (another 80's artifact).

I LOVE The Punk Rock Movie, great artifact that I was 5 years too young and 3000 miles too far away to be part of.

If you've got an original copy (with a cartoon drawing for the cover art, not the big photo of BIlly Idol) there is a scene in there of 2

in the theatre!!!!
I found a copy Of Liquid sky at a garage sale & I hated it then & hate it now YICK!!!!!! its so bad!

I saw Suburbia in the theatre also

Anyone remember a flick called "Joysticks?" One of the main characters was a punk dressed in black with a rainbow mohawk called Vidiot.
I can't believe I remember that, i must have been 12.

this is much more recent, but a movie called "Sugar Town", which came out a couple ( few ? ) years ago, featured: John Taylor (Duran Duran), Martin Kemp (Spandeau Ballet), and Michael Des Barres, among others. Its main plot was aging rock stars living in
