God I love this lp. I know time-wise it's getting away from the strict new wave genre ('85 release date), but this is really one of my favorite mid-80's releases. I keep going back to it and just can't believe how good a songwriter this guy was. His voice is great, and Thomas Dolby's production is great. Easily one of my "Top 5" lp releases (do I sense a new thread here Dave?)
It's a mellow, subdued listen but believe me you'll be rewarded. My favorite tracks?? I like them all, but..

And try listening to 'Desire As' when going through a serious break-up (as I was at the time) and you'll know how music can rip your heart right out of your body and feed it back to you.
