The Flashback 650

Always great to see the 80's websites thriving on the net. [:)]

I am posting here to let everyone know that I have compiled my own list of 80's new wave songs (and a few 90's tunes in there too), and have ranked them in the order that I like them from #650, Depeche Mode, 'But Not Tonight', all the way to #1, which is my favorite all time 80's song. [:D]

I'd like to invite everyone to check it out, and offer me your comments, good, bad, agree with, disagree with, any little tidbits of info about the bands in my countdown you can offer, or corrections.

Please feel free to leave comments either here on the message board or in the countdown itself. You can click on the 'Leave A Note' link that can be found in the bottom of every page in my countdown. I've enabled it to accept notes from ALL people without having to be an Open Diary member, just leave me your New Wave Outpost name of whatever name you wish to use.

Oh yeah and this is (mostly) a New Wave countdown for now, with the rare pop song thrown in that I could not resist including. And of course 90's songs, mostly with a 80's feel, or 80's bands...

I plan to do a 'hair bands - metal' countdown with Guns N Roses, Poison, Bon Jovi, etc. as well as an '80's pop' countdown, with Michael Jackson, Madonna, Prince etc. Those bands won't be on the 650 as a result...
