Ahh...thats what I needed-
I couldnt figure out what I needed to listen to this morning. Disco, New Wave, Indie, Punk, Italo, Funk, and Ambient/Downtempo werent cutting it.
I am agreeing with these songs posted by the others in this thread-
Aldo Nova - Fantasy (love this tune!!)
Saga - On The Loose
Golden Earring - Twilight Zone
Rush - Limelight
Judas Priest - You've Got Another Thing Coming
Dokken - Breaking the Chains
Motely Crue - Kickstart My Heart

Thats really great. Produced by Trevor Horn (From the Buggles! and Frankie Goes to Hollywood) The album was 90125 the record company catalogue number. I used to know the name of the computer used to do the cover..I remember it had a whoping 64KB of RAM.
What I'd like to include-
The Sights - The Sound of Breaking Hearts
Poison - Nothing But a Good Time
Poison - Something to Believe In
Motely Crue - Dr. FeelGood
Motely Crue - Girls Girls Girls
Motely Crue - Wild Side
Billy Squire - In the Dark (not really metal..but still rock)
Billy Squire -
Anything by The Scorpions
Smalltown Elephants - Fortune and Money (Man, how did they do that?)
Queensryche - I Dont Believe in Love
Sisters of Mercy - This Corrosion
Billy Idol - Rebel Yell
Billy Idol - Shock to the System
Billy Idol - White Wedding
*Kiss - I was Made for Loving You (their only song with a synth!)
Rick Springfeild - Affair of the Heart
*The Cult - Fire Woman
*The Cult - She Sells Sanctuary
Bon Jovi - You Give Love a Bad Name
Quiet Riot - Cum On Feel the Noise
Dio - Lonely Diver
**Living Color - Cult of Personality
**Extreame - Pornografitti
* I think I will be crucified for mentioning these guys.
** I may be getting too 90s here.
I'd also like to mention that I seriously love Saga. I have hoardes of their CDs. I mention them here from time to time (when Im not posting about useless bs). They are prog and new wave to me because of their extensive use of synthesizers. They had 2 keyboardists...and while they sold out at the end of the 1980s, I think that while their material produced was bad 'Saga material' but still 'damn good music'. But that is a later argument.
