I just listened to The Replacements' "I Will Dare" and realized what an incredible power pop crossover gem this is. Man, I've got to get those remasters.

It's amazing what some of you people consider "80's Power Pop". I think of skinny tie wearing four piece bands, blasting out songs under 3 minutes long to a 4-4 beat with jangly guitars. Usually the bands name begins with "The".
