Ok The 7", the Grand-daddy of the Record Industry (well, actually I guess that would be the Large format 78rpm on actual wax)....cheap to produce, been with us since before you can remember, Easy for start out labels to produce. The best thing about the single is they usually get to the point quick - "This is our song" bang.....Descending order as best you can. New Wave/Modern Rock/punk only. Everything counts (sorry) on this one, Quality of A and B side, Packaging (Yes Skinnytie), personal importance to you, scarceity and joy recieved from said 7"....eyes down pencils up...aaaand, GO!

20. Morrissey/Vinni R. "I know Very well how I got my note wrong" (1 sided, with a Vinni guitar f up, then bursts of laughter.
19.OMD "Telegraph" 7" the B side Features a 7 + min long mellotron synth dirge called '66 and Fading' which doesnt appear in it's entirety on the 12"(?)
18. Motorhead : "Ace of Spades" (lest you forget Mhead was on Stff Records for a time) ---the only M head song you really need

ok, here we go; and Marque, you know I've been waiting for this one. I found this list easier to put together than the 12" one, which I found surprising. Also surprising was the lack of diversity I found in it. All are UK releases, each with a comment

I'm really surprised to see this list isn't as popular as the other lists that have been compiled around here. No one else had favorite 45's? I find that hard to believe. Marque, maybe you should do a list of "top 20 b-sides"? Maybe that will stir up
